Justin Meyer (Director) See Director's Note!

Nolan Monsibay (Musical Director) See Cast Bios and Musical Directors Note!

Melissa Meyer (Choreographer) has been working with her husband Justin for the past few years to establish and manage their immersive theatrical company, Meyer2Meyer Entertainment. Together, they have had the privilege of working on immersive projects for big names such as Fortnite, Amazon, Netflix, Warner Brothers, and their own shows House of Spirits, Kaleidoscope Experience, and the Bite LA. Before her current role, Melissa was a professional dancer and performed for various regional theatres and cruise ships. She is excited to take a break from her laptop and miles of spreadsheets to pull out her dancing shoes and help bring this musical to life!

Ernest Peiffer (Choreographer) spent most of his entertainment career as a project supervisor for Princess Cruises, where he taught and installed the production shows. This is where he met owners Justin and Melissa Meyer. He has dabbled with choreography for shows locally and in Branson, Mo. You might have seen some of his choreography in The Nocturne's presentations of Beauty and the Beast and Cabaret. He has come back to lend his support for this showing of Hunchback of Notre Dame. Please enjoy.

Tanya Cyr (Costume Designer) studied under various designers before landing at Meyer2Meyer Entertainment, at the company's inception.  She works year round on all their shows, designing everything from Creature Suits to Costumes.  She is originally from Santa Barbara and wishes to thank her family, especially her father, mother, her brothers and her newly extending family, for their constant support of her artistic adventures!

Jay Michael Roberts (Scenic Designer) grew up in NW Montana, has a degree in architecture and is completing an MFA Scenic Design at the University of Montana. Shout out to Fort Peck, where he’s spent over a decade running the scene shop, and performing. Special thanks to Andy Meyers for his constant support and to Justin and Melissa for including him in this rockstar project.

Eric Marsh (Lighting Designer) is very excited to be back in California designing lights. He grew up in Torrance but now lives in Houston, Texas.  Eric has an MFA in Lighting Design from Western Illinois University. Eric is a Professor of Theatre at Sam Houston State University for the past 18 years. Some of his favorite shows are American Idiot, Rent, Sweeney Todd and Murder on the Orient Express.  Eric’s designs have been seen all over the United States.  Eric most recently designed the lighting for Madame Scrooge and Into the Woods, Jekyll & Hyde, and Beauty And The Beast here at The Nocturne Theatre.

Matt Merline (Sound Designer) is the resident sound guy for the Nocturne Theater. He runs the ship for any and all sound-related needs. For Hunchback, he recorded and mixed the backup choir.  You can find him crawling around the theater floor plugging things into the wall or buried in a pile of wires. His spare time is spent at the library, playing music, writing and long hikes.

Micah Delhauer (Stage Manager) Micah is both the bee's knees AND the cat's meow. He has been involved with Meyer2Meyer Entertainment since its inception, doing everything from directing to dressing up like giant ice cream cones, and is proud to be assisting with their latest enterprise, the Nocturne Theatre. When not acting as inspiration and mentor to the Meyers, he is also a creator of motion pictures, having just finished his first feature, Blood Magick. Check out his bad self at: facebook.com/micahdelhauerfilmmaker / instagram.com/micahdelhauer / instagram.com/bloodmagickthemovie

Musical Director's Note

Hunchback of Notre Dame is a beautifully arranged score of densely layered music. Every scene is textured with music that is equal parts challenging, engaging, and dynamic while simultaneously engrossing the audience in this tragic tale. I come from an extensive choral background, and this is a show that I have been hoping to be part of for well over a decade! Now having both directed the music and learned this music to perform, I can truly appreciate how massive an undertaking this score is. I want to commend our cast for not only learning their ensemble and soloist parts, but for also taking on the massive undertaking of learning and performing all of the background choral parts that are typically done by a completely separate entity on stage. Our intimate cast has done an incredible job in capturing the broad, epic choral sections that the score demands. I am floored by this cast's ability to step up to the plate, and couldn't be prouder of the show we are bringing to you today. To each and every member of this production, thank you from the bottom of my heart! - Nolan Monsibay

Director's Note

It is a testament to the unending spirit of artists to accomplish a show of this magnitude and caliber in the amount of time that we had; and in the face of some extreme business/life challenges! By now, most everyone has heard of Meyer2Meyer Entertainment's massive loss of inventory, costumes, props and scenery due to a warehouse fire on July 1st, 2024.  Rising from the literal ashes of that fire has proven one thing to me--that the heart, soul and talents of this company, the thing that makes Meyer2Meyer Entertainment and the Nocturne Theatre what it is, are the people and artists who perform and create these shows; and with them, we will rebuild bigger and better than before!

My biggest thank you is to...YOU! Our amazing audience.  Thank you so much for supporting Meyer2Meyer Entertainment by buying a ticket to tonights performance at The Nocturne Theatre.  Your future attendance is the best support we could ever ask for and we look forward to providing you with many years of wildly creative, breathtaking, magical entertainment experiences.  - Justin Meyer
